HI, I'M JINDI

Jindi Chai is an interaction designer and creative technologist based in New York, working at the intersection of AI, XR, and narrative systems. Her practice focuses on turning abstract social issues—such as educational equity, immigrant belonging, and meritocratic pressure—into accessible, emotionally grounded interactive experiences.

Through mobile story apps, web-based tools, VR/AR environments, and data-driven visualizations, Jindi experiments with how technology can lower the barrier to expression while also revealing how systems like generative AI "think." Her projects often blend real-time interaction, speculative interfaces, and storytelling to help people see, question, and co-create with the technologies that shape their lives.
